Deepshikha Samiti is an organization of social workers working in Delhi since July 1994. The issues on which Deepshikha Samiti works are gender-based violence, discrimination, capacity building, livelihood, education and health and violence against women.
The objective of the organization is to provide a healthy, strong and safe environment to all the people of society where everyone has equal rights, participation and opportunities without any discrimination.
Through vocational training, Deepshikha Samiti has so far enabled 2000 girls to become self-employed by giving them tailoring, basic computer course and parlour training.
600 girls are given personality development and BPO training and they are linked with jobs so that they can spot in different multinational companies. They were trained on how to apply for interview and job and how to improve their speaking skills.
